By following the paved road that goes from the high city to the low city, you can still see the places and buildings where some of the greatest Italian artists once lived, worked and set up shop: Lotto, Previtali, Moroni, and many others. You can admire their masterpieces in the city museum or discover the works left in the various churches located throughout the city, at the same time following the footsteps of their authors and the lives of the rich people who commissioned the works.
The goal of our antique tour is to combine art, history and enjoyment. Not just monuments and churches, but antique shops, goldsmiths’, pastry shops and tearooms too. Not just dates but the affairs of real men and gossip belonging to a time that was dominated by the powerful and “unscrupulous” Venice.
